At the completion of this program the learner will:
- Describe the characteristics (education, experience, expertise) and the practice environment (structural empowerment; job resources and demands) of BSN-prepared RNs in hospital bedside practice
- )Describe relationships between nurses’ characteristics and practice environments to
decisions stay or leave hospital bedside practice.
3.)Describe nurse case managers’ perceptions of work environments, burnout and satisfaction
4.) Contrast their reports with nurses in other positions with similar qualifications that impact
quality care: direct care nurses in hospitals and nurses in support roles [ie, risk management,
informatics).
